When it comes to styling, there's no doubt that this is a GS. It's all there: from the asymmetrical headlamp optics to the fender extension, the aluminum radiator scoops, the propellers on the tank sides and the small, sharply cut windscreen. A look that's both chic and sporty.

The new 853 cm3 in-line twin develops 70 Kw (95 hp) at 8,250 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. Enough to provide a great deal of thrills in sporty driving.

On the road, the F 850 GS is very convincing. With a rigorous chassis and a lively engine, it offers plenty to surprise, and once on the corner, it's on a rail. In terms of equipment, suspension and braking, this is a BMW, and a GS, so there's nothing to complain about!

For two-up riding, the quality of the damping and seating, the grab handles and the distance between the saddle and footrests make it ideal. And with fewer kilos than its larger R 1250 siblings, maneuvering is much easier.
